Panoramic flight of National Park Krka and Skradin. NP Krka are the biggest and most famous waterfalls in whole Dalmatia. Located near Sibenik, it was named after the river Krka. Krka National Park is known for its many waterfalls and lakes. Some scenes of Winnetou moved here. The most visited are Skradinski Buk and Roski Slap. The animal and plant life are diverse. 40 caves are located in the area of the national park. The mills bear witness to how people once lived. Krka National Park is located 50 kilometres from Zadar.

Let’s fly over the National Park, the monastery of Visovac, Skradinski Buk and Roški slap. The Skradinski Buk waterfalls are a collection of 17 waterfalls. The island of Visovac in the Krka river was settled by Franciscan monks in 1445, who originally built a monastery and a church in 1576. The monastery contains a library.

There’s a wide variety of both flora and fauna in the Park. Over 800 species of plantlife have been identified  in the National Park. Much of the animal life lives around of the Krka River It is home to different amphibian and reptile creatures. You will also be able to see many different bird species.

Our next destination from the air is Skradin. This town visited Bill Gates. It represents one of the oldest Croatian cities. Its position nearby the National Park “Krka” makes it one of the most important Adriatic destinations in relation to nautical tourism.
