Žižanj

Žižanj island can be found just to the south of Pašman within the glittering Kornati Archipelago. Only 8 km away from Biograd na Moru on the Croatian mainland, the island can be accessed by boat in only half an hour.

On island there are around 10 houses. It is the perfect getaway for European travelers.

The main attraction that the island holds for visitors is its pristine natural environment. With very few tourists visiting, its perfect beaches are very quiet, and there is a real sense of freedom on the island and you should discover it.

Swimming in the clear blue waters of the Adriatic is a real treat. Exploring the coastline on foot provides plenty of adventures for walkers. One great way to soak up some of the local culture and appreciate the beauty of the island is to take a trip on a fishing boat. The local fisherman help visitors to catch fish like squid and octopus. They will also demonstrate the local tasty recipes for the fish, such as ‘gradele’ and ‘brudet’, dalmatian delicious food.
