Vrana Lake is situated at a distance of 30 km from Zadar. It is a karst field filled with brackish water. There is a bird reserve which is an important ornithological area in Europe. There are more than 241 species of birds.

As the lake has salt water, we encounter salt and freshwater fish species. Kamenjak Hill is situated above the middle of Lake Vrana. There is an organised lookout with benches, houses and a panoramic telescope. The view looks out to the Kornati Islands, Murter, Vrana, Pirovac and it is there you can buy souvenirs with motives of Vrana Lake .
