Česmina Cove

Do you like diving?

If your answer is yes, this is for you.

I recommend you the best place – Pelješac Peninsula

A German ship from a military convoy which was sunk in August (1944) lies at the depth of 22 to 39 meters and this is a protected area. You can only dive there with authorized centers.

In 1944 during World War II, a German S57 torpedo ship was burned. It was a boat with three engines. If you want to travel back in history, Mr. Dragan has the concession for this protected area where the ship lies. The ship is in the Česmina Cove and it is not possible to dive free. This is a protected area so you can only dive with authorized divers centers which pay the concession. It is forbidden to enter into the shipwreck itself due to its bad condition, but you can see everything as the wooden covering. This is not a destination for beginners. You will see a gorgeous sight.

How clear the sea will be, it depends of the season. It is the least clear in May and June during algal bloom and the clarity is the best  at the end of August and at the beginning of September.

If you like a challenge, if you are a good diver, try, you can not lose anything.
