Our departure is from Zadar. For people who would like something different.
Easy sailing, swimming, drinking cold drink…and our route is Molat.
Molat is an island of unspoiled nature situated in the northern Zadar archipelago. You will find three small villages on the island of Molat: Molat, Zapuntel and Brgulje. The island is an ideal place with beautiful beaches, clear sea and green pine forests. The ideal way to explore the island from outside is on a boat driving from one hidden bay to the other.
It gives you a chance to get away from the noise and crowd of city life.
You’ll discover a true Mediterranean atmosphere – the peace and serenity of Molat Island is something that can only be found in an untouched nature.
Find an isolated beach and enjoy the sound of crickets and smell of pine trees.
Try some local specialties such as virgin olive oil, wine and cheese that can be bought from the locals.
Enjoy in local bar with locals and listen to their stories.
The name of the island derives from the Latin word mel, mellitus, meaning honey, sweet as honey, and it perfectly illustrates this beautiful Molat Island.
Take a walk along the newly renovated riva (waterfront), try some freshly prepared fish dishes in several restaurants available on the island and above all – enjoy the honey-sweet detachment from the modern hustle.
All they you will enjoy sea, island, swimming…It is Dalmatia.
