Чиово
Čiovo is an island in Dalmatia and it is connected to land and the town of Trogir by a drawbridge. During the summer months that bridge causes problems to the tourists and local people because many people have to leave or get to the island at the same time. Čiovo has been inhabited since prehistoric ages and the ancient Romans. It called it Boa. Island has about 6.500 inhabitants.
The terrain is mountainous and the tallest peak is Rudine (209 m). Čiovo includes Arbanija and Slatine on the north-eastern coast, Žedno further inland and Okrug Gornji and Okrug Donji at the western coast.. Čiovo is a kind of extension of the town of Trogir. It offers a number of possibilities for fun, night life, recreation and swimming. Riviera Okrug is the most popular tourist destination near Trogir. Mediterranean vegetation, archipelago filled with small, picturesque islands, mild climate and beautiful beaches in hidden bays, it is island of Čiovo .

The Church of Our Lady of Prizidnica, from 1546., it is situated among cliffs and lies on the southeast side of the island. In the lagoon Supetarska, there was an old Croatian little church of St. Peter. In theVillage Žedno, there is the church of St. Maurice in the field and in the center of the village, there is the church of Bl. John of Trogir. In the village Čiovo there is also a Franciscan convent of St. Anthony which has preserved its appearance from the 17th century. The convent guards the crown made of gilted silver with jewels from XIV. century and a sculpture of St. Magdalene.
