The coast consists of pebbly beaches, while the part from Dugi Rat to Omiš is covered with sandy. You can take a boat and visit island of Brac, discover hidden places

Archaeological finds in the Turska peć and Ponistrice caves are evidence of the existence of life in that area since the Stone Age. Settlements of a permanent population can be confirmed by the castles and accumulation of stones from the late Bronze and Iron Age.
