Croatia is a beautiful, the monuments, museums, churches, restaurants…..It is great for adults but when we come perhaps with a children , we need to satisfy their needs. There are a lot of fun things for kids to do in Croatia.
It is my suggestion.
All kids prefer a sea, beach. The beaches in Croatia are sandy and pebbly. Near Zadar, less than a 30 min. drive from the ancient city of Zadar, you’ll find the Queens Beach in Nin. Children can make a sandcastle and you can play beach volleyball. The other sandy beaches are: Sakarun Beach on Dugi Otok, it is one of the nicest. Lopar village on the Island of Rab has 22 sandy beaches. Omis has several sandy beaches. Other places are Palmizana (island of Hvar), Murter, Peljesac, Saplunara beach on the island of Mljet…
Diving in Croatia makes a great place for your kids. The waters in Dalmatia-Croatia are calm and your children can learn to put their head underwater.
Navigating your way around the many islands choosing where to stop and explore hidden bays, beaches, nature, it is a great family experience. The best time to start sail is between May and October. There is nothing nicer than a morning swim and after spend the afternoon exploring a village.
If you are short on time, you can take a ferry to visit island on one day.
Children prefer adventure. River Zrmanja or Cetina, it is an unforgettable experience for everyone. The crystal clear water through a canyon, is the ultimate outdoor adventure for little travelers. Kayak, rafting….they want it.
Children prefer to dance. What is a better thing than let the kids dance until the color turns. The Greeting to the Sun in Zadar is a light show for your kids.
Zipline is an adrenaline entertainment where guests descend through the canyon down the steel wire rope, secured with a belt. There is a minimum age of 9 years to be able to take part, but it is not a maximum age. Zipline is located 3 km from Omis, in the canyon of the Cetina River.
Buffalo Bill city is the first and only cowboy town in Croatia, it works from 15th June – 1st September. It is situated in Vrsi, 15 km from Zadar.
Every town and village has some kind of wide-open space. While the children play, you can enjoy drinking your drink.
Let your holidays start and finish in Croatia.
