The name, Elaphite islands, was first mentioned in the 1st century. The largest of the Elaphites: \u0160ipan, Lopud and Kolo\u010dep, and there you will find old stone houses, summer palaces and castles. \u0160ipan was a favorite holiday spot for the patricians of old Dubrovnik.<\/p>\n<p>Elaphiti islands as a hidden paradise, but once you put your feed down on one of these gems you\u2019ll understand why it\u2019s true.\u00a0Since the ancient times, the islands were a place of comfort, vacation, and delight.<\/p>\n<p>All of this is due to well preserved nature, clean and clear sea, sandy beaches, beautiful pine forests, olive gardens, numerous promenades and footpaths.\u00a0Elaphiti or Elafiti archipelago name comes from the Greek word elafos, which means deer, therefore they are often called the deer islands.<\/p>\n<p>Enjoy hidden bays, swimming, also we can suggest some of nice restaurants.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Spend your day on Elaphiti islands, half day or full day.
